  • Are you insured?

Yes! I have a very comprehensive insurance which covers all my equipment, liability and professional indemnity – you can request to see confirmation of this at anytime after your booking.

  • What happens if your equipment breaks or fails?

I shoot all weddings with two cameras and a mix of zooms and prime lenses so that I always have multiple back ups in case anything were to go wrong. Both cameras have dual card slots, which means I have an instant back up while I’m photographing.

  • Do you work with a second photographer?

The majority of weddings that you see on my site I've photographed alone - my unobtrusive, documentary style lends itself better to this. That said if you want photographs of you both getting ready in different locations, or you're having a big wedding with lots of guests; I have a number of wonderful photographers I know who can help out. Just let me know and we can discuss bespoke options.

  • How long is your photography coverage?

Depending on what you’re looking for, I have different packages and prices based on the service. Starting from 1 hour portrait session up to 10 hours coverage for weddings. Visit HERE to discover more about pricing.

  • How do I make a booking?

You can send me an email via my “contact me” page filling in your details, preferred date and requirements, then I can confirm if I am available for your chosen date. Next I will send you a quote to review (you can check my pricing HERE). If you are happy to continue I will arrange a little meeting with you to know each other and to discuss further details. If you are happy to proceed all you need to do is fill out the booking form and include a 30% deposit (Booking Fee) within 5 days of our meeting to secure the date. When all paperwork and deposit is received, I will send you a signed confirmation for your records. Now your date is fully reserved, and I will not accept any other clients for that date. The balance will be due at least 28 days (four weeks) prior to the booked date.

  • Do you provide a written contract?

Yes. Unlike many wedding photographers I feel that a written contract is vital. It lays down in writing my exact obligations, agreed prices etc and gives you peace of mind knowing you have a written document.

  • What happens after the booking?

We’ll then start pre wedding consultations leading up to the day. Further, if included in your package, a date is arranged for the pre wedding/engagement session. This is also an opportunity for me to get to know a bit more about you.

  • WHERE AND WHEN WILL THE PRE WEDDING SHOOT TAKE PLACE?

It’ll normally take place somewhere in London area. Preferably at some place that holds some special meaning to you. Ideally due to having to shoot events over the weekend, most of my engagement sessions take place during the week. But I do manage to arrange a weekend shoot too.

  • WE’RE NOT KEEN ON HAVING OUR PRE-WEDDING PHOTO TAKEN AT ALL, CAN YOU TELL US MORE ABOUT IT?

Most of my couples who book with me really don’t like having their photo taken, or feel a bit awkward about photos. So it’s perfectly normal when people say they aren’t too keen on the idea of a pre-wedding shoot. I completely understand – I’m the same when someone points a camera at me! However, it really is a great thing to do. It helps us get to know each other better, you get to see what I’m like with the camera and you get some beautiful fun photos to cherish. It is really important to me that you feel relaxed and comfortable by the time the wedding comes around. I don’t want to feel like a stranger showing up on the wedding day, so that’s why it’s always great to meet up for lunch and do the pre-wedding shoot. Some people want to meet in the pub first, so don’t worry we can always have a bit of liquid courage first!

  • WHAT ARE INCLUDED IN THE “WEDDING” PHOTOGRAPHY PACK?

All my Wedding packages includes: a consultation chat over tea and cake or on Skype/Zoom (I prefer meeting over tea and cake… my treat!), a venue visit together with you, an USB of high resolution fully edited photographs and a private online gallery holding all the photographs. Optional Extras include: Books, Albums, Thank-you cards and additional USBs.

  • HOW MANY PICTURES WOULD I RECEIVE ON THE USB?

It depends on which type of package you choose. Just to give you an idea, you can expect up 200 photographs for the 3 hours coverage up to 700 photographs for the full day coverage, all high-resolution and fully edited.

  • WHAT ABOUT THE ALBUMS?

All of my albums are made here in the UK or in Italy. They’re pretty stunning and I firmly believe you’ll still be grinning when you look at them in 25 years time! Having an album is not something that I’m ever going to force on you and there is absolutely no sale pitch on my part. If you’d like one, then I would love to design an album for you. You get to pick which cottons, leathers or leatherette to cover it. They are 100% bespoke for you and like many of my previous clients you will want to carry it around and show it off to everyone you meet.

  • What if we don’t want our photos to be on your site or on social media?

Whilst being able to use your images is an important part of my marketing - helping attract the next 'generation' of couples like you, I also understand that you may wish you keep your wedding private. As part of my 'Your Day in Detail' form I'll ask you what your consent is for image use - both on social media and for portfolio usage, so you're always in control.

  • WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT TO THE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS, CAN I PRINT MY OWN?

Of course with the USB you can share the images and print your own photographs directly from there, the photographer always retains the copyright which means you cannot sell them on to third parties, but I happily give you the permission to personally print as you wish.

  • WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WEDDING?

Once I get home from shooting your wedding, I back up all your lovely photos and get to work on them. Going back through all the photos makes me so happy and I’m always buzzing to show you a little sneak peak so I’ll always send you a preview of 5 photos within a week. You’ll receive the rest of the images in an online gallery within 2-4 weeks (depending on the period) after the wedding.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CANCEL OR WANT TO CHANGE THE DATE OF OUR WEDDING/EVENT/PORTRAIT SESSION?

On the very rare occasion that you might have to cancel or adjust your confirmed date, I have a very simple and fair system in place. Should a cancellation happen after a booking unfortunately you loose the deposit (Booking Fee) .

    - 100% of the agreed fee if cancelled within 7 days of the wedding date.

    - 50% of the agreed fee if cancelled between six and twelve months prior to the wedding date.

    - 25% of the agreed fee if cancelled less than 6 months prior to the wedding date.

The balance will be due at least two week prior to the wedding date.
