how I work
“For me the subject of a picture is always more important than the picture.”
– Diane Arbus
documentary wedding and event photography
What is Documentary Wedding and Event Photography?
It is a natural and honest photography style. It is the opposite of the tired, traditional A-B-C of wedding and event photography, which still lies low in the public imagination when you ask them of what wedding and event photography is about.
I capture weddings and events without imposing upon it, taking photos of real memories and real emotions: that look, that smile, those tears, that brief moment frozen in time.
Key with documentary wedding photography is that it is meant to reflect the day. No imposition or constraining. It is about capturing these moments naturally, which usually happens. They don’t need to be posed. I think that capturing these moments naturally leads to more interesting and touching images.

Lifestyle portraits
I do really enjoy working with people and I love to capture beautiful moments. As documentary wedding and event photographer, I do apply the same approach in portrait photography as I’m truly passionate about story telling.
I am able to produce relaxed and natural pictures of you as individual, couple or family. I work on location at your home or a nearby place that you enjoy visiting, and I incorporate all these elements into your photos to ensure your images are unique to you.
